Just a reminder that Jen will be at the Salón Internacional del Cómic de Barcelona this weekend!
You can see her on the “My Way” panel with Greg Rucka and Craig Thompson on Thursday, May 3, from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m.
Jen will join Mike Allred, Jonathan Case, and Joe Keatinge in the latest installment of Comics Underground tonight, 8:00 p.m. at the Jack London Bar (529 SW 4th Avenue, Portland, OR 97204).
Comics Underground is a regular event where comic creators are invited to read from their work while images from the comic are displayed behind them. According to the folks who run the event, “Performers provide their own soundtracks, sound effects, live music—whatever they want, really. It’s in a bar, it’s informal, and past events have featured everything from live guitar accompaniment, to broken-window sound effects (courtesy of a bottle scrounged from behind the bar), to audiences cheering work made by both professionals and five-year-olds with crayons.”
It’s also a free event, so come out and have a good time! Jen will be reading new material from Hopeless Savages. No word on whether there will be any bottle breaking.

Jen will be at Bridgetown Comics in Portland tonight, along with Erica McGillivray, Rachel Edidin and Sara Ryan, to celebrate the release of Chicks Dig Comics!, which you can read about here.
The signing starts at 6:00 p.m. and goes to 9:00. Come out and support this fantastic book!
